Your Dashboard & Starred Clubs

The dashboard is the first page you see after signing in. Which cards you get depends on what you do on Target Score: shooters see their events and scores, club owners and managers see their entries and revenue, and everyone sees events and results from the clubs they have starred.

For shooters​

  • Your Upcoming Events: the events you are registered for. Private events are not listed here; open your profile to see all of them.
  • Your scores at a glance: Total Events, Total Matches, Distances Shot and Shot Counts, plus your three highest scores. Full analytics opens your analytics page. Until a club has entered a score for you the card says so instead of hiding.
  • If we find other athlete profiles with your name, a notice lists them with a Claim Profile button.

For club owners and managers​

  • Pending Entries: one tile per event with entries waiting for your approval, showing the first five names and a List Participants button that takes you straight to that event.
  • Revenue snapshot: gross, collected, outstanding and net for the event selected at the top of the page. Change the event there to see another one; Open accounting opens the full breakdown. An event with no orders yet says so.
  • A red banner lists any club details that events still need, such as a currency or time zone, with an Update Club Info button.

Someone who shoots and also runs a club sees both sets of cards, club first.

From clubs you follow​

The From clubs you follow card lists upcoming events from every club you have starred, and the Results card floats results from those clubs to the top with a star badge. With nothing starred yet, the card shows two shortcuts instead: one to the events page and one to Browse clubs.

Starring a club​

Every club tile has a star in its top-right corner. Select it to add the club to your favourites; select it again to remove it. You will find the tiles in three places:

  • the Events page, where you pick a club before choosing an event;
  • the Clubs page;
  • the club picker on the Results page.

Starred clubs sort to the top of every one of these lists; the rest follow alphabetically. The search box above the tiles matches on club name, city, state or country. Your favourites are saved to your account, so they follow you to any device you sign in on. The first time you open the Events page a short guided tour points the star out.

Starring a club does not send you any email. It only shapes what your dashboard and the club lists show. To hear about events and results by email, turn on the newsletter below.

The newsletter​

The newsletter carries product updates, upcoming events and results. It is opt-in: the Send me TargetScore product updates, upcoming events and results by email box on the Create Athlete and Create Club forms is unticked until you tick it.

  1. Select your initials or profile photo in the upper-right corner, then Profile.
  2. Under Email preferences, use the Product updates and newsletter switch. The row shows whether you are subscribed, unsubscribed, or still need to confirm from an email we sent you.

Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link in its footer. The newsletter is not filtered by the clubs you have starred.

Email preferences​

The same Email preferences panel on your profile page lists every kind of email Target Score sends to your account address:

  • Switches for the emails you can turn off: the notifications organisers receive about new entries, and the emails an organiser sends to all participants of an event.
  • Always on for the emails you would not want to miss: entry confirmations and receipts, invoices, waitlist messages, club manager invitations and account security emails.
  • Muted for specific events lists any single event you have unsubscribed from, with an Unmute link.

Each email you can turn off also carries an Unsubscribe link. It opens a page where you choose how far to go: only emails about that event, all emails of that kind, or all non-essential emails from Target Score, with an undo link. Mail apps with one-click unsubscribe, such as Gmail and Yahoo Mail, show their own Unsubscribe button next to the sender, and that works too.

If your address has bounced or been marked as spam, the panel says email to it is blocked. Contact us to restore delivery.
