Prize List (Aggregates)

Overview

An aggregate is a named result list: a set of matches, optionally narrowed down by division, classification, participant group, category, gender, age, country and more. Your aggregates are the official results of your event.

When a visitor opens your event's results, they first see the list of its aggregates and pick the one they want. The list is sorted alphabetically and grouped:

1. Featured - the aggregates you chose to pin at the top (see Featured Aggregates).
2. Prize lists - the aggregates you created or edited.
3. Overall, By day and By match - the aggregates Target Score creates for you.

Below the list, visitors also find Other ways to view the scores (Day, Division, Classification, Match Group, Distance, Gender, Age, Countries, Multiple and, for events with team matches, Team). These are views that Target Score builds from every score in the event. They are clearly marked as not official results, and they are always available, whether or not you create aggregates.

Combining Divisions

Example: One Medal Group for Several Small Divisions

You award medals to the top three of each division, but only when at least three shooters entered. For divisions that are too small, you want everyone to compete together in one group, for example Bench-Challenger together with F-Production, F-Precision/Any Rifle and F-Limited.

1. Create one aggregate per medal group: F-Open (Division Applicable: F-Open), F-TR, Sling, and Bench-Challenger.
2. In the Bench-Challenger aggregate, tick all four divisions under Combine Divisions. They are now ranked together as one list.
3. Open the Bench-Challenger aggregate in your results. Every shooter of the four divisions is ranked in it, whatever division they registered in. You do not have to change anyone's registration.

To print all your groups on one sheet, with match winners and class prizes marked, use Combined Results: its division groups do the same job for the whole sheet.

Combine Divisions takes over from Division Applicable. As soon as you tick a division under Combine Divisions, only the combined divisions are included and the Division Applicable selection of that aggregate is ignored.

The auto-created aggregates and the Other ways to view the scores always group shooters by the division they registered in. Only your own aggregates can combine divisions.

Aggregates Created for You

You do not have to create the obvious result lists yourself. As you add matches, Target Score creates and maintains:

Aggregate	When	What it contains
Grand Aggregate	As soon as the event has an individual match	Every individual match of the event.
Day 1, Day 2, ...	Only when your individual matches are spread over two or more days	The individual matches of that day.
One per match	For every match, including team matches	That match only. For a team match, it shows the team results.

Warmup matches get no aggregate and are not counted in the Grand or Day aggregates. Team matches are not counted in the Grand and Day aggregates either, they only have their own.

On the Prize List page these aggregates carry an Auto-created label. While they have that label, Target Score keeps them up to date: renaming a match renames its aggregate, and moving a match to another day updates the Day aggregates. Links that people have already shared keep working.

Editing and Deleting Auto-Created Aggregates

• If you edit one (change its name, description, matches or any other option), it becomes yours. It loses the Auto-created label, moves to the Prize lists group on the results page, and Target Score no longer changes it. No replacement is created.
• If you delete one, it stays deleted. Editing your matches afterwards does not bring it back.
• Marking one as Featured does not count as an edit. It stays up to date.
• If you already have an aggregate with the same name as one Target Score would create (for example your own "Grand Aggregate"), yours is kept and no second one is created.

Events whose matches were created before this feature was introduced have had these aggregates added for them. Older events may also still show aggregates named Daily Aggregate, Gender Aggregate, Age Aggregate or Classification Aggregate from the previous system. You can delete them if you do not need them.

Featured Aggregates

Turn on Featured on an aggregate to pin it in the Featured group at the top of the results page. Use it for the results most visitors are looking for, such as the championship aggregate or today's Day aggregate.

• You can feature as many aggregates as you like. This replaces the old Set as Default Aggregate option, which allowed only one.
• Featured aggregates are pinned, not opened. The results page always starts with the list, so every event works the same way for visitors.

Steps to Create an Aggregate Prize List

1. Navigate to Prize List
   Under the Manage Event section, click on Prize List.

2. Select the Event
   If the event is not already selected, choose the event for which you want to create the aggregate.

3. Click on Down Arrow to Create Aggregate
   On the Prize List page, click on the down arrow inside Create Aggregate button to expand the aggregate creation form.

4. Provide a Name
   Enter a name for the aggregate. This name will help identify the aggregate in the system.

5. Add a Description
   Write a description for the aggregate. This description will appear at the top of the results page when this aggregate is selected.

6. Choose Options
   Select the relevant options for the aggregate. Keep the selection minimal to ensure faster system performance.

Important

If you want to create your own day aggregate, select only the Matches on that date. You don't need to select the distance if that day includes same distance matches. It will confuse the algorithm and slow down the processing time.

If the aggregate includes all items in a specific option, you don't need to select anything for that option. By default, it will include all. These options are basically to filter down the aggregate.

6. Create the Aggregate
   Once all details are filled in, click Create to finalize the aggregate.

By following these steps, you can create a custom aggregate prize list that provides a clear and official summary of results for your event.

Common Use Cases for Aggregates

• Grand Aggregate and Day Aggregates: These are created for you. Create your own only if you need something different, for example a championship aggregate that leaves out some of the matches. Turn on Featured to pin it at the top of the results page.
• Division/Classification Aggregate: Create aggregates for specific divisions or classifications to highlight top performers in those categories.
• Combine Divisions: Create aggregates that combine multiple divisions (e.g., Any/Any and Palma) for overall award in that category. See the example above.
• Participant Groups: Use participant groups created in the Manage Participants section to create aggregates for specific groups, such as teams in a team match.
• Custom Categories: Utilize custom categories created in the Participant Groups & Categories section to create specialized aggregates.
• Age/Gender/Country: Create aggregates based on age groups, gender, or country to recognize achievements in these segments.
• Distance-Based Aggregates: For events with multiple distances, create aggregates for each distance to award top performers.
• Take best X distance scores: For events where participants shoot multiple distances, you can create aggregates that consider the best X scores across those distances.
