Pricing Tiers
Every event has one or more price tiers: named entry prices such as Regular Entry $85 or Junior (Under 19) $40, with one marked as the default. A shooter picks a tier on the entry form and is invoiced for it, plus any add-ons. A free event is simply one tier at $0.00. Tiers are also how you run early-bird pricing: give each tier an availability window and Target Score switches between them on the dates you set.
Where to Find It
Pricing is the Entry Pricing section of the event form, under Manage Event > Create Event for a new event and Event Dashboard > Edit Event for an existing one. If you create an event from the quick form, the Entry Fee you type there becomes the default tier, named Regular Entry.
How It Works
An event with no pricing shows This event is free. Click Add Pricing to add the first tier; it becomes the default. Add Price Tier adds more, up to ten. Each tier has:

The bin icon removes a tier, except the last one; Make this event free clears them all.
Taxes
Taxes belong to the club, so you set them up once and tick them on tiers and add-ons in every event. Create one from the pricing section with Configure Tax (no taxes yet) or Add Tax: a Name such as HST, a Rate (%) and an Inclusive (VAT-style) switch. Left off, the tax is added on top and the shooter sees CAD 85.00 (+ HST) beside the tier. Switched on, the amount already includes it and the invoice marks it included.
There is no page for editing a tax yet. If a rate changes, create a new tax and tick that one instead.
Early-Bird and Limited-Time Pricing
Click + Set availability window on a tier to set Available from and Available until, each with a date and time. Empty means Immediately and Until entries close. Early bird is two tiers instead of one edited price:

Late-entry pricing works the same way in reverse. Windows may overlap; both tiers are then offered.
Windowed tiers show a badge on the event form: Upcoming, Expires Jun 1 or Expired. Expired tiers are greyed out, not deleted. If the windows leave a gap with no tier on sale you see a warning; it does not stop you saving, but nobody can register during the gap.
Windowed tiers beat editing the amount on the day: each tier is reported separately on the Accounting page, so you see Early Bird Entry × 34 against Regular Entry × 12.
What Shooters See
The entry form lists Select price option with only the tiers available right now, the default pre-selected (or the first available tier if the default is not on sale). When a tier's window closes within seven days, the form shows This price ends Jun 1 under it. The Order Summary below lists the tier, add-ons, Taxes, the Processing fee if any, and the Total.
The window is checked when the form is submitted: a shooter who submits after the deadline sees Pricing has changed and picks again from the current tiers; if no tier is on sale they see Entries Closed. The price locks when the order is created: a card payment completed after the window closed is still charged at the locked price.
Who Pays the Processing Fee
The fee applies to Stripe only. On each Stripe gateway under Manage Club > Payment Gateways you choose who bears it:

The fee is calculated on the server and is never taxed. Offline gateways have no fee. See Payment Gateways.
Add-Ons and the Old Price Option
Tiers cover the entry fee only. Extras such as dinner tickets or a t-shirt are Add-Ons under Event Dashboard > Add-Ons, each with its own price, quantity and taxes, and each its own invoice line.
The Custom Entry Form builder no longer offers a Price Option field: entry fees come from tiers and extras from add-ons, so both are itemised on the invoice and in Accounting. An older form that still contains a price checkbox keeps showing it, but it does not change the amount charged.
Things to Know
- Publishing a priced event with no payment gateway asks you to confirm once: shooters register without paying on Target Score and you collect payment yourself. You can still record it on the Accounting page.
- Changing a tier after registrations affects new entries only; existing invoices keep the label and amount they were issued with.
- Free tiers still create an invoice, for $0.00 and marked paid. Entries you add yourself (Add Participant) pick a tier too, or No charge (comp entry).
